Before You Forget Me
If you’re leaving, in silence lock the door
Behind you, love; don’t make a sound, I plead.
If you’re leaving, our starlit nights will dim
But don’t you bother turning on the lights.
Within a Dream, It Cannot Die
I want you to know one thing.
I love you as one loves certain obscure things,
secretly, between the shadow and the soul.
I laugh, I fight; and you, l’homme qui rît
so close that your hand upon my chest is mine,
so close that your eyes close with my dreams.
The Ballade of a Lost Poetess
A wistful poetess walked in tireless shoes,
She’s drifting in the dark along with light,
In colourless worlds of soft and rhythmical blues,
Too weary of people to put up a fight.
She’s lighting blazing fires throughout the night,
And feeling warm, she sees the sparks and smiles
At a vengeful moon of desired sleight,
While she walked a million miles.
Upon a Circle’s Path
April 3, 2018
A million miles away from love, a thousand years later born,
I still look for signs of you. Memories alive like a paradox
in distant worlds, where you and I found our way.
A Hate Letter
January 25, 2018
I hate how I forced myself to tell you to leave me alone.
But mostly I hate how each and every time you failed to do what I said, forcing me to hurt once more by having to repeat it.
